FIRE HYDRANT & SPRINKLER SYSTEM

Fire Hydrant installation consists of a system of pipe work connected directly to the water supply main to provide water to each and every hydrant outlet and is intended to provide water for firemen to fight fire. The water is discharged into the fire engine form which it is then pumped and sprayed over fire. Where the water supply is not reliable or inadequate, 

hydrant pumps should be provided to pressurize the fire mains.
Hydrant & Sprinkler system are installed as per NBC Norms.
The system generally use water as an extinguishing agent.

GAS FLOODING SYSTEMS (CO2 / FM200 / HFC227ea)

Gas Suppression systems extinguish fires by removing the oxygen content to below 15% where most materials do not burn.

They are activated by a smoke detection system that detects the early presence of smoke.

TYPES OF GAS SUPPRESSION

There are few different gases that we use in these systems: Novec 1230 (clean agent); FM 200 (clean agent), carbon dioxide & inert Gas.

HIGH PRESSURE WATER MIST SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

For centuries, water has been used as a medium to fight fires by cooling the fire. The breakthrough that water mist represents is to use the same method as traditional sprinklers but to add the effect of converting the water into steam. 

This means that the cooling effect is up to seven times higher

FIRE RATING DOORS

Fire Rated & Wire Glass creates a barrier to smoke & flames that ordinary glass can’t. When heated beyond 250oF, normal glass will break and allow easy access for smoke and fire to spread. Fire rated glass has been tested in conditions where the temperatures may exceed 1,000oF. Fire rated glass that has passed that kind of testing will remain intact and restrict the expansion of the fire.
